Founded on October 10, 2018, by Alexander Papa at just 17 years old, Papa Gelateria LLC brings the rich tradition of authentic Italian Gelato and Sorbetto to Western Pennsylvania and Eastern Ohio. Driven by a passion for quality and a commitment to craftsmanship, Alexander introduced a taste of the Italian Renaissance to the community.

Gelato, a hallmark of Italian culinary heritage, is renowned for its creamy, silky, and dense texture. Unlike traditional ice cream or frozen custard, Gelato is slowly churned with over 50% less air, contains significantly less butterfat, and is served at a slightly warmer temperature. This method enhances its intense flavor profile while reducing the "frozen" sensation on your taste buds. Each batch is handcrafted using only the finest ingredients to ensure an unparalleled dessert experience.
